About This Platform:
CGPeers.in is an independent educational social network made for students. Users voluntarily share study-related content and engage in knowledge exchange. We do not upload or store any content on our own servers. The responsibility of any user-generated content lies solely with the person who submitted it.

Compliance with IT Act, 2000 & Intermediary Guidelines:
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000, particularly Section 79 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, CGPeers.in qualifies as an intermediary. This grants the platform exemption from liability for third-party information hosted on it, provided:

• We do not initiate the transmission or select the receiver of the information
• We do not modify the content in any way
• We act quickly upon receiving actual knowledge of unlawful content

Notice & Takedown Policy:
If any user violates copyright laws or shares unauthorized content, rights holders may submit a written complaint to us. Upon valid notification, we will:

• Review the complaint within 48 hours
• Disable access to the reported content
• Notify the content uploader (if applicable)

Legal Immunity of the Platform:
As per Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000, CGPeers.in, its owners, hosting providers, and staff are not liable for user-generated content, so long as due diligence is followed. We operate strictly within the boundaries of Indian cyber law and support content removal actions upon valid request from rights holders or authorities.
