What happened to CGPeers?
CGPeers recently experienced some changes that affected its primary website, leading to confusion among users. Many reported issues accessing the original site due to connectivity timeouts, making it difficult for members to reach content they previously accessed without issues. As a result, new URLs, such as cgpeers.in were established to offer an alternative and serve as a replacement for the old site. This change is intended to maintain user access, though it may require users to update bookmarks and adapt to the newer site interface and forum setup. If you’re still experiencing trouble, clearing your DNS cache or checking firewall settings could help resolve lingering access issues.

Yes, Impressed with the new site! It’s refreshing to see @CGPeers adapt and evolve while still providing valuable content. 👍

My account was deactived due to inactivity, trying to figure out how to reactive it or get creditational for a new account. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried numerous options but without any luck.
I was in the same boat a while back—my old account on .com also got deactivated because of inactivity, and I tried pretty much everything to get it back but had no luck. From what I’ve seen, the .com side doesn’t really offer any proper way to restore accounts once they’re marked inactive.

That’s when I moved over to cgpeers.in, and honestly, it’s been a much better experience:
  • No risk of losing your account just for being inactive.
  • Membership upgrades are straightforward and permanent.
  • Your uploads actually get credited to your profile, which feels more rewarding.
  • Overall, the site just feels more active and supportive compared to .com.
If you’re stuck trying to get your .com account back, I’d suggest not wasting more time on it. Setting up and upgrading on cgpeers.in has been way smoother for me, and you won’t have to deal with the same issues again.
